About us
Two Rivers Platinum (TRP) Mine is a bord and pillar mine located near Steelpoort, in Mpumalanga, South Africa. The mine lies on the eastern limb of the Bushveld Complex and represents one of the largest platinum reserves in South Africa. The TRP operation is an underground mine consisting of the Main Decline, the North Decline, and a concentrator plant.
The MiX Platform is a cloud-first solution hosted on Microsoft Azure. It has been developed to solve a wide number of problems across multiple industries including Mining and Manufacturing. It provides integration into an extensive array of data sources; Extract, Transform and Load (ETL) capabilities as well as an End User Self-Service Interface. The Two Rivers have adopted the MiX Platform as the basis for the Connected Mine to de-silo and provide context across their entire value chain.
Why a Management API?
The Connected Mine Platform built on MiX is built on multiple Microsoft Azure services. Microsoft provides multiple Restful APIs into Azure. A Management API provides the capability to consolodate all of these into a single interface and assists 3rd party developers with rapid development of their own applications.
